"The real standout in these songs is how well they’re written…the music is fantastic and [the] musicianship is top-notch. Oh, and singer Sam Haiman can sing his ass off.”
Bio
Sam Haiman is a singer-songwriter/producer in Nashville, TN with a penchant for lush organic textures and poignant lyrics. With a style reminiscent of Mumford and Sons, James Bay and Ben Howard, Haiman melds percussive guitars, synthesizers, and acoustic instrumentation to evoke raw, visceral responses from his listeners.
Growing up in northern New Jersey, Sam spent his youth listening to early Springsteen records, hoping to one day write songs with the same unwavering honesty and integrity as those early E-Street records. By the time he was exposed to Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Pride and Joy'' at fifteen, his connection to music solidified and became the primary focus of his adolescence. Countless bands came together and fell apart, hundreds of shows played and songs written. Sam got to share stages with many of his heroes, from Billy Gibbons and Eddie Money, to Warren Haynes and George Thorogood. Throughout this time, Sam also began a career in audio, recording performances by some of the industry’s top talent, like Morgan Wallen, Stephen Sanchez, and Zac Brown Band, among others.
Fast forward to 2020, Sam knew he needed to become even more singular and steadfast in his pursuit of music. With the help of the rhythm section of CC Ellis and Nick Groat, Sam went into Bearsnake Studios in Nashville, TN to begin recording the first seven songs (of which four so far have been released) launching his solo career.
